We have a visual tour of Ethnic Dance Expressions Studio to help acquaint you with your new class surroundings (see below). The Studio features a small, cozy waiting area and storage space for your belongings. The waiting area acts like a buffer between our class space and the parking lot to give us more privacy.

In the Studio, you will find "Sallamah's Souk" a boutique with selected belly dancing supplies: CDs, tapes, veils, zills, videos, and an assortment of costumes. Also, Sallamah Chimera is the local belly dance supplier of the popular, but hard to find, Grecian styled Hermes dance sandals.

The dance area of the Studio is mirrored on two walls so we can turn around and come back without breaking the continuity of the class or wasting precious time. We installed Quietstep Resilient Professional Studio and Stage Flooring to provide additional cushioning response specifically designed for dancing, aerobics and yoga. The surface is smooth and easy to dance or exercise on, yet not slippery and maintains a constant surface temperature for barefeet and floor exercises. It is excellent for sandals, socks and barefeet and safe for your joints and bones.

We have Sony and Technics sound equipment for both tapes and CDs, and we have a TV with built-in video deck for watching videos of our performances. There is ample, lighted parking and the Regional Transit System bus stops are located on Newberry Road a few feet from Plaza West for your convenience.

Ethnic Dance Expressions Studio is located 1.5 Miles East of Oaks Mall on the Left slightly past NW 43rd Street, or if you are coming from the University, it is 4 signal lights West of the intersection of SW 34th Street & University Avenue. Plaza West is located next to "Tire Kingdom". "Gypsy Palace" is the first store you will see as you enter Plaza West.
